Since the launch of our Super Saplings Pledge in September 2024, Mirius has now planted over 10,000 trees in Madagascar, aiding reforestation in an area that has lost over 90% of its primary forests.
Making an Impact
Sustainability is most credible when it’s embedded in day-to-day operations and reflected in tangible progress and for us, this means focusing on actions that can be tracked and understood over time, instead of using broad sustainability statements. This includes how we reduce impact within our products and operations, as well as how we take responsibility for the wider impact of our business. One example of the latter is our Super Sapling Pledge, delivered in partnership with Evertreen.
Rather than being a standalone initiative, it is built into how we operate. The programme links tree planting directly to our Super Professional range, with trees funded in line with customer spend, so the impact builds alongside product usage.

Reforestation Where It Matters Most
These trees are planted in regions like Madagascar due to being a globally recognised biodiversity hotspot severely affected by deforestation. Aiding the reforestation efforts here delivers long-term environmental value while also supporting local employment and community restoration through managed planting programmes.
The initiative is also designed to be transparent and traceable. Customers who “make the pledge” can access impact data including trees planted, carbon impact and project updates through Evertreen, rather than relying on high-level claims.

The Bigger Picture
A seemingly simple partnership with Evertreen has enabled us to make a substantial, positive, environmental impact as a business that will last decades. This programme sits alongside continuous improvements across product formulation, packaging reduction and manufacturing efficiency, giving customers greater confidence in the impact being delivered across the board.
