Supporting our communities and making a positive difference is an important part of what Mirius stands for. That’s why we came together on Friday 25th September for the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise vital funds to support those living with or affected by cancer.

Real Team Effort

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning saw colleagues come together to enjoy a selection of homemade cakes, sweet treats and refreshments, all while raising money for a cause that touches the lives of so many people. Thanks to the generosity of our employees we raised £1,016.80 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Additionally, Mirius is matching this value, bringing the grand total to over £2,000.

This donation will help Macmillan continue providing practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer and their loved ones.

Why Macmillan Coffee Morning matters

Cancer can impact every aspect of a person’s life. Through its network of services, resources and support programmes, Macmillan Cancer Support helps people navigate the emotional, physical and financial challenges that often accompany a cancer diagnosis. The funds raised through Coffee Mornings across the UK help ensure that support is available to those who need it most.

As Macmillan says, the charity is committed to doing “whatever it takes” to help people with cancer receive the best care possible, wherever they are and whoever they may be.
