Yes, many of our products are BS EN 1276 accredited and above. Please contact us if you would like more details about our accreditations and certifications.

Yes, we have a catering range designed for all areas of a commercial kitchen. All products intended for use in commercial kitchens are odourless and comply with all current safety standards.

Yes, we provide COSHH data sheets for all our products, along with detailed information sheets and usage wall charts. They can all be found and downloaded in our Resources Hub.

A Safety Data Sheet is not required if the product contains less than 1% of raw material with a hazard classification.

Absolutely not! We hereby confirm that Mirius, a member of the Coventry Group, does not and have not undertaken animal testing on any of their products or raw materials, nor do we ask others to do so on our behalf. We fully support the development and global acceptance on non-animal testing alternatives and are committed to helping end animal testing in the industry.

 

We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and are continuously looking at ways to improve our sustainability as a company. We have entire pages dedicated to our recycling here and our sustainability here.

 

Mirius loosely comes from the Latin Mira, Mirus, Mirum and translates as – Wonderful, Strange, Remarkable, Surprising and Extraordinary – we think that sums up our business perfectly!

The Business started as Coventry Chemicals and underwent a rebrand in 2018. Our Healthcare sector stayed as, and currently is, Coventry Chemicals, whereas our Retail and Professional sectors now trade under Mirius. All 3 sectors operate from the same office as part of the Coventry Group.
