Having applied for assessment of its ESG operation by the prestigious global sustainability rating organisation EcoVadis, Mirius was delighted to achieve a Bronze Medal rating. Mirius is quick to point out that the Bronze rating is serving as a baseline score on which our ESG Improvement Strategy has been based.
EcoVadis consider the following components of a business’s activity when determining their ESG rating:
- Environmental impact
- Labour & human rights
- Ethics
- Procurement
The feedback that Mirius received from EcoVadis after their assessment has allowed us to construct an ESG Improvement Strategy to specifically target areas of our business with scope for development. In fact, key projects within the Improvement Strategy are already being implemented. Over the coming months, Mirius will post website updates on these projects because we are keen to demonstrate our commitment to our ESG values. Next month will see us describe our key project enhancing our environmental impact.
