In the UK, it is estimated that there are approximately three and a half million people currently living with cancer. According to Macmillan Cancer Support that number is an increase from around three million of just five years ago.

For over a century Macmillan Cancer Support has providing myriad support mechanisms to people affected by cancer. In their own words, Macmillan Cancer Support “are doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are.”

Inspired by Macmillan’s annual coffee morning event, Mirius recently hosted our own coffee morning, engaging our employees in fund-raising and raising awareness about the challenges of cancer and highlight the vital role Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s Mirius coffee morning raised over £1200 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Contributions for our coffee and cake event raised more than £600 and Mirius doubled the total by adding another £600.
