Taking on a sporting challenge to raise money for good causes has become increasingly popular in recent years and cycling events are well supported. Whether it’s a long-distance ride across the country or a multi-day endurance event, cycling offers a powerful way to combine personal achievement, improved fitness, and charitable giving. In fact, in 2024 alone, it’s estimated that over 2 million people worldwide participated in organised cycling events for charity or personal milestones.

Our very own Milly Prajapati from the Mirius Finance Team is one such person ready for greater challenges in support of a good cause. Last week, Milly participated in a fund-raising challenge – ‘Cycling For Humanity’, in which she and her teammates cycled the 350 miles from London to Paris and raised thousands of pounds. Milly’s fundraising was in support of orphanages and eye clinics in Punjab, India. Moreover, for over four decades, Cycling for Humanity UK have supported underprivileged individuals, not only in the UK but across the globe.
