What is the Super Saplings Project?

Sustainability is most effective when it is embedded into everyday business operations and supported by measurable outcomes. The Super Saplings Pledge was designed with this principle in mind. It is integrated into how we work, with every qualifying purchase of Super Professional products contributing directly to tree planting efforts, allowing the positive impact of the programme to grow alongside our business and customers.

Transparency remains central to the initiative. Through our partnership with Evertreen, participating customers can access project updates, track environmental impact and see the real-world results of their support. This provides a level of visibility that goes beyond broad sustainability statements and demonstrates the genuine difference being made.

From One Sapling to Thousands of Trees

What began as a commitment to fund tree planting through our customers’ support has developed into a significant reforestation programme in Madagascar, one of the world’s most important biodiversity hotspots.

Over the past two years, the project has achieved a number of remarkable milestones. In 2025, we celebrated planting an average of over 100 trees planted every week for an entire year, and more recently, in the summer of 2026 we reached the great landmark of 10,000 trees planted through the Super Saplings Pledge.

Each tree contributes to the restoration of landscapes affected by deforestation while supporting long-term environmental recovery. The benefits extend beyond carbon sequestration, helping to improve biodiversity, restore natural habitats and create more resilient ecosystems for future generations.

Global Climate Action

The Super Saplings Pledge also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13: Climate Action, which calls for urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. Climate change remains one of the world’s biggest challenges, making reforestation an important tool in building a more sustainable future.

The project also contributes to Goal 15: Life on Land and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by protecting natural habitats and supporting employment opportunities for local farming communities.
